Web Hosting Plans - Advice & Opinions Please

Hi Everyone
This discussion is about finding the right Website Hosting plan online.
I need a host that can offer simple CPanel, Auto-responder etc etc. and all of the tools we need for having a professional looking site running well.
Any advice, comments or opinions please?
Especially include extreme cases of excellence or problems encountered.
Cheers

Hey Michael,

Here is the hosting service that I use.

http://alphaomegahosting.com/

They have cpanel, and everything else you need.

As for an autoresponder, I REALLY recommend aweber.

http://www.ryanwade.com/aweber (yes... that's an affiliate link)

It is so much better to have a hosted AR solution, then try to mess with your own... trust me... I've been there.

Hey !
By cpanel do you mean "Control Panel" ? or are you guys using some tech talk mumbo jumbo ?

Hey Bob
You're right. CPanel is a proprietary name for a certain design of a Control Panel.
For an example see hostgator.com

Hey Michael,
I've been using Kiosk.WS for awhile now, and have been pleased. They offer all you ask for.
Take a look at http://kioskhosting.dickhale.com.

Hi Mike. For the best bang for the buck, I don't think you'll find anyone offering more than the Ultimate Marketing Center does for $19.95.
Too many features to list here.

I will tell you that the autoresponder service that comes with the plan is not as powerful or feature rich as Aweber or GetResponse, but it's more than enough to get the job done. I don't have an affiliate program or membership site so I have used those services offered. I've been with them almost two years and have never had a problem with them.

Cheers,
Ed

Yeah Micheal,

There definitely are cheaper hosting options out there.

I run a dedicated server that costs about $300/month.

Hi Michael,
I use VodaHost It is close to Hostgator in benefits and features..and price. Been with them for about 2 years. Has a very good website builder and many good video tutorials

I chose it over Hostgator because of the two-tier affiliate pay out

I've not had any problems with VodaHost and my one tech support was handled very quickly. I actually had made a few bucks on them as an affiliate before I used them. They have a great two-tier affilaite program.

Regards,
Jim

Thanks Jim.

That sounds like a true benefit - the two-tier affiliate program. I'm going to check it out.
